Ebola Information
Public health experts have confirmed that Ebola can only be spread through direct contact with the body fluids of someone sick with Ebola, or objects contaminated with the virus. It is NOT spread through casual contact. And it can only be spread when people who have the virus are actively showing symptoms. The most important early symptom of Ebola in someone who has been exposed to the virus is fever. Patients may also have headache, joint and muscle aches, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, lack of appetite, or abnormal bleeding.
If you or your child have any of the above symptoms, AND have traveled to Sierra Leone, Guinea or Liberia in the last 30 days, OR you have been in contact with someone who was diagnosed with Ebola, PLEASE DO NOT come to our office.
Instead, please call us so our medical staff can direct you to the proper facility to provide you with the best care possible.
