“We have been very happy with the level of care our children have received at SEBPMG for the past 5 years.  Of course, there have been a couple of times we had to wait, but in general, we are seen promptly.  The office seems to be making an effort to be sure patients are seen quickly (they write the time you are called back at the top of your sheet to track wait times). The office staff has always been friendly, and their referral team is efficient. However, the best part of SEBPMG is Dr. Dugoni.  She is patient, gentle, knowledgeable, and calm. I love her, my kids love her.  We have also had pretty good luck with other doctors at SEBPMG for same day appointments (Dr. Burke, Dr. Hallaj-pour, Dr. Unson are our favorites to see if Dr. Dugoni is unavailable).”

On our first visit prior to our baby’s birth, my wife and I met with Dr. Sara Dobbs. She was very patient and answered all the questions we had.  She even gave us a tour of the facility and showed us where several checks/tests were done.  She made us feel very confortable with her practice.”

“I needed an immediate appointment for my 4 year old daughter and Dr. Alpert was available, so I made the appointment. She was friendly to me my daughter and my other daughters that were in the exam room. Sometimes multiple siblings can be overwhelming in an exam room and she did not seem to mind. She was genuinely concerned and even followed up later with a call to me to see how my daughter was doing. So i made another appointment for my other 2 daughters physicals and she was just as nice and the girls all liked her. She called me when one of my girls had iron deficiency and sent iron prescription to the pharmacy that worked for me. My other daughter forgot to ask her a question, so we called Dr. Alpert and she called back the same day and answered all her question and made her feel at ease and that her new Dr. was on her side.”

“My husband and I are very pleased with the level of care our three children (ages 5, 3, and 8 months) receive at SEBPMG. Their pediatrician is Dr. Unson and he is very attentive, knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. “This is one of the best pediatric center within Fremont CA. Dr. Burke was the primary doctor for my daughter since she was 2 weeks and he is simply the best. The best part of this pediatric center is that they have several pediatricians available which means you can always get an Urgent appt. with one of the doctors. There is also Urgent care facility over weekends! We have moved to Dallas, TX and the services hours here are not at all good. It’s always difficult to fetch a same day/next day appointment with the primary and also long wait times in the clinics. I wish there was SEBPMG here as well”

“My daughter’s pediatrician is Patrick Burke, and he is fabulous. He gives great medical advice and explanations but also talks to you like a dad. He gives you the Doctor’s opinion and then follows it up with the reasonable Dad opinion. I appreciate that being a reasonable dad myself. Marjorie Alpert has also seen my kids once or twice when Burke has been away, and she’s super great too.”

“South East Bay Pediatric Medical Group, of which Dr. Dobbs is a part, is a good practice with many very good physicians. I suppose this review should be under SEBPMG, but my wife and I wanted to write a review especially for Dr. Dobbs, because she is really, really great. *ALMOST* 5-stars great, really. -1 star because there is frequently a LONG (30 min+) beyond appointment time to see her. Nonetheless, to us it was completely, totally, 100% worth the wait because she is an *outstanding* physician.

Dr. Dobbs genuinely cares about children and about partnering with parents to provide the best care possible. She takes the time to really evaluate the whole child during exams (not just physically, but emotionally) and alleviate the concerns of the parents (hence the wait!). She does not overprescribe meds and she is very willing to hear out parents in terms of concerns and treatment alternatives. She cared for our son from when he was about 6 months old until he was about 3 1/2, and she also saw our infant daughter from 0-6 months. If we had not relocated out of state she would still be our pediatrician for sure. We wish we could have brought her with us to Texas!

“Today I had my first appointment for my 4 year old with doctor Susan Dugoni. I called on Friday and they had an opening for 8:45 a.m. on Monday to have a well check for a new patient. It was clean and hardly anybody in there the front desk staff was very friendly and my daughter spoke to them they responded to her very nicely we waited just for a few minutes after I filled out the paperwork. Went into the back area and a medical assistant was very nice and very sweet. gentler than I expected. She us to the room everything was clean and sanitary. 10 minutes later doctor walked in, she was very friendly too and very nice to my daughter I liked her a lot then someone came and got us to have my daughter’s hearing and vision test he was very nice they took us over to the lab waiting room where we waited for just a few minutes then went in and finished up our labs and went to the checkout. Everyone is very nice very friendly spoke very softly to my daughter and it seemed like a well oiled machine.”

“We just recently transferred to this Pediatric office and on our first ever visit, Dr. Hallaj-Pour was the doctor we saw. He was seeing 2 out of my 3 girls for possible strep throat 2 days before Christmas. His professionalism and sweet nature towards my children was remarkable. Extremely patient and completely explains diagnosis so that you can understand what needs to be done in order to help your child. After our first visit, my children really liked him and we made the decision then to make him our main Pediatrician. My kids love him and I couldn’t be happier to have Dr. Hallaj-Pour as our Doctor!”
