To all my wonderful patients and their families:
After 40 years in practice the day has come for me to hang up my stethoscope and retire. While it is always hard to say goodbye and to make changes, I do embrace this opportunity to spend more time with my dear wife and adorable grandchildren (six so far!) In good health and good cheer I plan to continue hiking, skiing, and some expanded travel.
I wish each of you healthy and happy times to come. I know you will have the very best of care with the remaining seven wonderful doctors and our caring staff at South East Bay Pediatric Medical Group. I have so much respect for the office staff and my other partners. I know they will continue to care for every patient with the same concern that I have always had.
Thank you so much for sharing your children and families with me. My memories of these years are wonderful and will remain with me always. I am grateful that I could help you with many different issues. Each family is so special to me. Seeing little ones grow up and the opportunity to know you has made my life so worthwhile. My career was filled with the opportunity to help families and to learn from each of you.
Wishing you the very best always. With the greatest and deepest appreciation for putting your trust in me and allowing me to care for your children.
Most sincerely,
Dr. Stephen Friedkin
